A Year in Books – January

It’s 2015!

We’re all familiar with the New Year phrase “new year, new me”, aren’t we? January’s theme in the A Year in Books feature is New Beginnings, because that’s what New Year’s resolutions are all about right? Deciding to take a fresh stab at that hobby you were terrible at before, making the effort to call your parents more, taking care of yourself better, or even just watching less Netflix – they all signal something new beginning.

I can’t wait to see what new beginnings await in the books I’ll read this month! Make sure to check back in again at the end of the month to see which book I thought had the best “new beginning” and to enter in the monthly giveaway!

January Reads:

The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd

Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

Belzhar by Meg Wolitzer

Stray by Elissa Sussman

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

Cress by Marissa Meyer

The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall

The winner of January “New Beginnings” is…

to be determined!

(visit me again at the end of the month for a giveaway!)
