GIF Tag

The wondrous Ri @ Hiver et Café tagged me for the GIF tag! How it works is that the tagger gives a list of ten books which the tagged (me!) have to respond with a gif and a sentence. One thing you should know about me is that I love the TV series The Big Bang Theory, especially Sheldon, so that nutball will be my GIF star today. Here are the books Ri chose for me:

The Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

Fantastic idea, but the execution left a lot to be desired.

Divergent by Veronica Roth

This is my shit.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Holy mother of badass, she’s fascinating in a way that makes me want to run and hide. (Based on movie, book TBR)

Red Rising by Pierce Brown

The way I want to read this is ridiculous because this is supposed to be really good, but $20 for a paperback? #universitystudent

The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

I just couldn’t connect with the romance here.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Yes, damnit, I’ll eat those berries with you!

The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

MAYBE I WILL BECAUSE YOU HAVE DESTROYED MY SOUL AND WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE LEFT BUT TO EAT MYSELF  INTO OBLIVION?

Vicious by V.E Schawb

Wow! Haven’t read this one, but it sounds like exactly the kind of grit and darkness I like in my novels.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

Much like Sheldon’s dancing, this book gave a great effort, but the romance was stiff and…not the best to watch.

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I think I read this?

A good mix of books I liked and disliked, and I think Sheldon really captured the spirit of my feelings! I’m nominating the Steph, Kat, and Meg @ Cuddlebuggery, Helena @ Book Nerd Addict, and Axie Oh @ Books are Bread to participate in the GIF Tag with the following books:

1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

2. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

3. Dorothy by Die by Danielle Paige

4.  The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

5. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

6. Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

7. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

8. Snow like Ashes by Sara Raasch

9. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

10. Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, or you can opt for its sexy (sexy?) alter ego, Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L James

Have fun!

  1. OMG I LOVED THIS POST SO MUCH! Such a cute idea, made even more fabulous by SHELDON GIFS! I hate you couldn’t get into the Winner’s Curse, though. It took me a little bit longer, but once I did, I adored it 🙂

    I enjoyed your thoughts!
